Our Beliefs & Values

We are a Christ-centered assembly of Christians pursuing the pattern of worship and fellowship shown in God’s Word, the Bible. It is from the scripture that we draw our beliefs of the core doctrines of the Christian faith.

We believe the Bible to be the inerrant word of God, verbally inspired, the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice. (2 Tim 2:16-17).

We believe that God eternally exists in three equal Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each having His particular part in the work
of our salvation. (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe in the Virgin birth, the sinless perfection, and the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Luke1:26-35, 2 Cor 5:21,Luke 24:36-40)

We believe in man’s total inability to gain a righteous standing before God on his own, the need for repentance and faith in Christ, and the absolute necessity of New Birth. (Rom 5:12-19, Jhn 3:3-7)

We believe that redemption is wholly by the blood of Christ, that salvation is by grace alone through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and that it is the privilege of the believer to know that he is saved. (Eph 1:7, Eph 2:8-9)

We believe that the church of Christ is composed of all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and is one and indivisible; that the Church has a duty to share the Gospel with the world to make the Gospel known to all nations. (1 Cor 12:27, Rom 12:4-5).

We believe that the hope of the Church is the personal, pre-millennial, and imminent return of our Lord; and that the only hope of the world as such, is the return of our Lord Jesus Christ as its righteous King. (1 Thes 4:13-18)

We believe in the resurrection of the body, in the eternal bliss of the saved, and in the eternal punishment of the lost. (Jhn 5:28-29, Mat 25:46. Rev 20:14-15)

We believe the grace of God is sufficient for the maintenance of a godly walk and that Christ and not the Law is the believer’s rule of life. (Eph 1:13)
